SPARTANBURG, S.C.. – USC Upstate used a pair of five-run frames to lead the Spartans to a 13-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon over the Presbyterian College baseball team. Ryan Ouzts and Chris Veach each led the Blue Hose with two hits including a double from Veach in the loss.

- In the third, Upstate got on the board first with an RBI single to take the early 1-0 lead.
- The Spartans extended the lead in the fifth with a five-run frame to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
- The hosts added five in the sixth and two more in the seven en route to a 13-0 victory over the Blue Hose on Tuesday.

- The Blue Hose return home for a three-game weekend series with Charleston Southern beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. from the PC Baseball Complex. The two teams will meet for a doubleheader at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
