ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men's team continued its busy week of matches on Wednesday with a tight 4-3 defeat at UNC Asheville in Big South Conference play at the Asheville Racquet Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Daniel Stenger and Sebastian Dominguez got the Blue Hose out to a quick start with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles. Asheville evened the doubles matches up at one apiece with a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
- PC earned a 7-5 victory at No. 3 doubles with Nicholas McKinney and Alberto Conde to pick up the opening point of the match.
- The Bulldogs evened the match up with a straight-set victory at No. 2 singles.
- The hosts pushed it front 2-1 as they earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
- The reigning Big South player of the week continued his dominance with a 6-3, 6-4 victory to knot the match up at 2-2.
- Asheville regained the lead with a straight-set win at No. 4 singles to take a 3-2 lead. The Bulldogs needed three sets at No. 3 singles to earn the match win on Wednesday afternoon.
- McKinney earned the three-set win to give the match its 4-3 final result.
