Men's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match at Georgia State

Atlanta, Ga. – Junior Nicholas McKinney earned a straight-set victory in singles, however the Presbyterian College men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Georgia State on Friday afternoon at the Peachtree City Tennis Center in Atlanta.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Georgia State earned a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles before picking up a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles to earn the first point of Friday's match.
- At No. 3 singles, GSU pushed the lead out to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
- McKinney got the Blue Hose on the board with a straight-set win at No. 5 singles to cut the Panthers lead to 2-1.
- Georgia State got the advantage to 3-1 with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles before clinching the match with the win at No. 1 singles.
- GSU earned the points at No. 2 and 4 singles to give the match a 6-1 final on Friday from Atlanta.
