Blue Hose Earn 6-1 Win Over Belmont Abbey

CLINTON, S.C.  – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team wrapped up its busy week of matches with a 6-1 victory on Saturday over Belmont Abbey at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- PC's No.3 doubles pair of Nicholas McKinney and Javier Matos got the Blue Hose on the board first with a 6-2 victory. The Blue Hose clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles by Max Benson and Georgije Babic.
- Daniel Stenger and Sebastian Dominguez also grabbed a 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.
- Javier Matos helped extend the Blue Hose lead with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 win. At No. 1 singles, Sebastian Dominguez pushed the Blue Hose advantage to 3-0.
- Teo Cariov clinched the match for PC with the victory at No. 5 singles.
- Alberto Conde and Babic earned wins in straight-sets while Belmont Abbey added a win at No. 6 singles for a 6-1 match final.
                   
UP NEXT
- The Blue Hose return to league action on April 2 at 3 pm when PC heads to Longwood.
