Farmville, Va. – Danielle Toone got Longwood on the board late in the first half and the host Lancers used that tally to propel themselves to a 1-0 victory over the Presbyterian College women's soccer team on Thursday afternoon at the Longwood Athletic Complex.

How It Happened
- In the 44th minute, Danielle Toone corralled the ball from a cross and buried the ball in the back of the net to give the Lancers the 1-0 lead they wouldn't relinquish the rest of the afternoon.
