Dachs Overtime Goal Propels Blue Hose Past Bucs

CLINTON, S.C. – Sydni Dachs connected on a header off of a corner kick from Caitlin Murphy in the final minute of the first overtime to give the Presbyterian College women's soccer team a 1-0 overtime win on Sunday afternoon at Martin Stadium.

How It Happened
- Off of a Murphy corner kick in the final minute of the first overtime, Dachs headed it home to the far left corner past the Bucs goalkeeper for the 1-0 victory.

By the Numbers
- Presbyterian outshot Charleston Southern 15-4, while holding a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal.
- PC held a 7-4 lead in corner kicks. All seven of the Blue Hose corner kicks came in the second half and overtime.
- Carolay Ospina and Morgan Hutchison led the Blue Hose with four shots apiece as Ospina had three shots on frame to lead the team.
- Dachs, Emily LaBoon and Reyna Coston each added a shot on goal during the contest.
- Megan Serrano tallied three saves in her first victory of the spring.
