Scouting the Spartans
- USC Upstate enters Wednesday's match winless on the spring with an 0-4-1 record following a 2-1 setback against UNC Asheville on Saturday.
- The Spartans have had three different players tally a goal this spring as Jane Bossler, Ashley Finn and Raegan Meyer each have found the back of the net.
- Cora Brendle and Haylee Grudzien have each seen action in goal this spring with Brendle leading the team with 26 saves in four games, while Grudzien has 13 saves in five games.

Last Time Out

- In the win, junior Megan Serrano moved into sole possesion of third with her ninth career win as a Blue Hose keeper.

Hutchison Leaving Her Mark
- Senior forward Morgan Hutchison had a breakout junior season which saw her set single-season records for points (18), shots (56) and shots on goal (25). The Athens, Tennessee native also scored seven goals which ranked second all-time and earned Big South All-Conference Second Team honors.
 - Despite the shortened spring season, Hutchison will still have the opportunity to climb the ranks for career records as she currently stands third in points (29), third in goals (12), third in shots (96) and second in game-winning goals (6).

In Elite Company
- Head coach Brian Purcell is in his 32nd season at the helm of the PC women's soccer program. Only six other coaches in NCAA history have coached for 30+ years with the same school, and Purcell is one of only three coaches to still be the only coach in program history. North Carolina's Anson Dorrance has spent 44 seasons with the Tar Heels, and Jerry Smith has spent 36 seasons with Santa Clara.

UP NEXT
- Presbyterian closes out its regular season road slate on Saturday at 4 p.m. with a trip to High Point. The match with the Panthers will be broadcast on ESPN+ from Vert Stadium in High Point.
