Blue Hose Drop Match to Cougars

Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team opened a busy weekend with a 5-2 setback at the hands of College of Charleston on Saturday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Courts. Alberto Conde led the Blue Hose winning both his doubles and singles match on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- College of Charleston got off to quick start earning a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles before the Blue Hose earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles featuring Alberto Conde/Teo Cariov.
- The Cougars clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win at the No. 1 doubles position to take the early 1-0 lead.
- Charleston pushed the lead to 2-0 with a straight-set victory at No. 6 singles before two-set win at No. 5 singles gave the Cougars the 3-0 lead.
- The guests clinched the match with a straight-set win at No. 3 singles.
- Presbyterian grabbed a win at No. 2 and 4 singles to cut the margin to 4-2 before a three-set comeback win at No. 1 singles pushed it to its final 5-2 margin.
