CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team used a seven-run eighth inning to rally and earn a 12-6 victory in game two of Sunday's doubleheader over Campbell. Campbell earned the victory in game one 21-5 on Sunday. Eric Toth went three-for-six in game two with a 4.0 inning relief appearance to earn the victory.

NOTABLES
- Brody Fahr paced the Blue Hose offense on Sunday with five hits in eight at-bats which included three doubles. Zacchaeus Rasberry totaled four hits in the twin bill including his fourth home run of the season to begin game one.
- Toth went the final 4.0 innings of relief in game two holding the Camels scoreless and allowing just one hit while striking out a pair as he earned his third win of the season. He also went three-for-six with a double in game two.
- With his three-hit game in game two, Toth tied the team lead with his ninth multi-hit game of the season. He has also reached base safely in seven consecutive games.
- PC improved to 8-2 when scoring at least six runs in a game this season, while also improving to 7-2 when out-hitting its opponents.
- With the win on Sunday, Presbyterian earned its first series win over Campbell in the DI era as the Blue Hose had only won two prior meetings before this weekend.
- Before first pitch of game one Sunday the Blue Hose honored its 2021 senior class which included Reagan Fowler, Peyton Knight, Andrew Livingston, Eric Miles, Austin Paradis, Zacchaeus Rasberry, David Sweat, Brandon Williams, and Jake Wyandt.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME ONE
- Rasberry got PC on the board in the first with a solo home run on the first pitch of the game for Campbell's starter. The Blue Hose extended the lead to 2-0 with a double steal that saw Livingston scamper home.
- Campbell got on the board in the third with an RBI double to cut the lead in half at 2-1. The Camels evened the game in the fourth as they scored on a wild pitch to tie it at two.
- Rasberry regained the lead for the Blue Hose with an RBI single in the fourth and PC took a 3-2 advantage.
- Campbell evened the game at three with an RBI double in the fifth.
- The guests scored five times in the sixth to take an 8-3 lead.
- PC pushed across a pair of runs in the home half of the sixth before Campbell scored five in the seventh and eight in the eighth to take game one in eight innings by the score of 21-5.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME TWO
- Campbell jumped out to the early 2-0 lead in the first inning.
- The Blue Hose got on the board for the first time in the fourth with an RBI single from Boyd and RBI double from Merkle to even the game at two apiece.
- The guests posted a four-spot in the fifth to gain a 6-2 advantage.
- In the sixth, Wyandt connected on an RBI double to cut the Campbell lead to three, 6-3.
- PC inched closer in the seventh with a pair of bases-loaded walks to Klein and Shaw.
- In the eighth, Toth and Sweat started the barrage with back-to-back RBI singles before a Wyandt sac fly gave PC the 8-6 advantage.
- Shaw continued the inning with a two-run triple before another run came home via a Campbell throwing error.
- The Blue Hose capped the seven-run eighth with an RBI single from Fahr to give them the 12-6 lead en route to the series win on Sunday.
