Notes
Series History | Last Meeting
Sunday will be the 4th meeting between the Blue Hose and Dolphins in a series that dates back to 2007. Jacksonville holds the advantage in the all-time series with a record of 3-0. Despite not winning in the series, Presbyterian has shown the ability to score, scoring at least one goal in every match.

Scouting the Dolphins
Jacksonville is 2-1 this season. After thumping South Carolina State, 7-0, and defeating FIU, 3-2, the Dolphins dropped their most recent game to Georgia Southern, 3-0. They finished last season with a 1-10-1 record.

The head coach for the Dolphins is John Constable. He is in his 2nd season.

Last Time Out
The Blue Hose were unable to take home their first road win of the season, falling to ETSU, 1-0. Presbyterian struggled to find offense, only having two shots. One bright spot was freshman Kelly Hall replaced Megan Serrano in the second half and made seven saves.

Freshmen Finding Their Feet
All eight freshmen have seen playing time this season due to a shortened bench due to injuries. Head Coach Brian Purcell has had options when it comes to who plays where and has mixed around the lineup.

Lawrence, Serrano Climbing the Ranks
Seniors Kori Lawrence and Megan Serrano have made quite the mark so far in their collegiate careers. Through their three years, they have inched their way towards all-time records in
Presbyterian's DI era.

Lawrence, the team's leading scorer a season ago, is currently ranked 4th in goals in her career with ten. She also sits sixth in assists with six. Serrano earned three wins last season which gives her 11 in her career. After a win against Alabama State, she is only one win away from becoming Presbyterian's all-time wins leader in the DI era. She also is placed fourth with 153 saves.

In Elite Company
Head coach Brian Purcell is in his 33rd season at the helm of the PC women's soccer program. Only six other coaches in NCAA history have coached for 30+ years with the same school, and Purcell is one of only three coaches to still be the only coach in program history. North Carolina's Anson Dorrance has spent 45 seasons with the Tar Heels, and Jerry Smith has spent 37 seasons with Santa Clara.

Big South Preseason Poll
The Blue Hose were selected to finish sixth in the preseason poll after posting an overall record of 5-4 a season ago.

Up Next
The Blue Hose go back on the road for a trip to Charleston as they will have another chance at a Southern Conference opponent in The Citadel on Friday, September 3. Kickoff is set for 3pm.
