The Blue Hose lost to No. 12 South Carolina in both matches of a doubleheader (6-1, 7-0) last Friday. Sophomore
Sebastian Dominguez posted a straight-sets win at number six singles in the first match of the doubleheader.
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY HONORS
Last week, the Blue Hose swept the Big South Conference men's tennis weekly awards after their performance in the season-opening win over Kennesaw State on January 15. Dominguez was named Big South Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career. While
Dusan Milanovic claimed the league's Freshman of the Week award.

SCOUTING EMMANUEL COLLEGE LIONS
Emmanuel College is 1-1 on the season with a road loss at Young Harris and a home win over Newberry. Last season, the Blue Hose defeated Emmanuel, 6-1, at home on March 11. Former Blue Hose players

SCOUTING CHARLOTTE 49ERS
Charlotte defeated Gardner-Webb in their first match of the season while losing road matches at No. 10 Wake Forest and No. 12 South Carolina in their last two matches. The doubles team of Stefanos Savva and Coy Simon are ranked ninth in the latest ITA Doubles rankings. Â

Charlotte defeated Presbyterian, 5-2, in their last meeting which came at Charlotte on January 11, 2020. Benson and Stenger tallied singles wins in that match.
