Ndrin Maloku, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (8-3-2) defeated the Furman Paladins (5-5-4), 2-1, on the road on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the fifth minute, Presbyterian's Carson Griffith passed the ball from Presbyterian's side of midfield to Gallego near the top of the box. Gallego took a beautiful first touch and then a shot into the lower right corner of the goal for the game's first score. Â Â
- In the 20th minute, Furman tied the score at one after Presbyterian scored an own goal.
- In the 30th minute, Presbyterian's Nile Nguidjol was taken down in the box by a Furman defender resulting in a penalty kick for the Blue Hose. Maloku blasted his penalty kick shot into the bottom right corner of the goal giving the Blue Hose a 2-1 lead. Â

NOTABLES
- The Blue Hose have had 12 different players score a goal this season after Maloku's game-winning goal.
- Maloku's goal was his first of the season and the third of his career.
- Gallego's goal was his third of the season and the sixth of his career.
- Presbyterian recorded seven shots in the game. Gallego and Niklas Hoener lead the Blue Hose with two shots apiece. Maloku, Gerard Lopez, and Voro Rivera Peris contributed a shot apiece to the Blue Hose offensive attack.
- Tonight's 2-1 win over Furman marked Presbyterian's second consecutive win over the Paladins and their first-ever win over Furman on the road.
