LAST TIME OUT
The Blue Hose rallied from a double-figure first-half deficit to take a three-point lead a few minutes into the second half, however, Presbyterian's rally fell short with a 68-57 loss at South Carolina this past Sunday. Winston Hill paced the Blue Hose with 16 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field while dishing out a career-high five assists. Terrell Ard, Jr. added 13 points and six rebounds to the Blue Hose's efforts.

BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Hill leads the Blue Hose in scoring, averaging 10.6 points per game. James, who has scored in double-figures in six games, is second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.3 points per game. Marquis Barnett averages 9.8 points per game and a team-leading 5.1 rebounds per game. Jalen Forrest is fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 8.4 points per game. Terrell Ard, Jr. is second on the team in rebounding, averaging 4.8 boards per game. Ard averages 6.5 points per game. Trevon Reddish-Rhone averages 7.6 points while dishing out a team-leading 2.5 assists per game.
 
NOTES
BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – On November 28, Forrest was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week this week. Forrest was the ninth player in the program's history to garner Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
 
OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS - This season, Presbyterian is averaging 11.18 offensive boards per game. The Blue Hose have recorded six double-figure offensive rebounds games (Carolina University - November 7, at The Citadel - November 10, at East Carolina - November 12, at UAB, November 16, vs. Bucknell - November 21, and VMI – November 29). The Blue Hose grabbed a season-high 18 offensive boards against Carolina University.

SAME STARTING FIVE - Presbyterian has used the same starting lineup in each of its first 11 games. Guards Barnett, James, Reddish-Rhone, and forwards Ard, Jr. and Owen McCormack have been the Blue Hose's starting lineup in every game this season.
 
DOUBLE-FIGURE SCORERS – Eight Presbyterian players have recorded at least one double-figure scoring game this season. Reddish-Rhone, McCormack, James, Forrest, Barnett, Hill, Ard, Jr., and Jones have all tallied at least one double-figure scoring game this season.
 
COACH FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fourth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 52 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks that are coaching their alma maters.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-ELON SERIES
Thursday's game marks the 41st meeting between Presbyterian and Elon, who leads the all-time series, 21-19. Thursday's game will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools as members of Division I. The Blue Hose have won 10 of the previous 11 meetings between the two teams in Clinton, South Carolina. PC defeated Elon, 81-77, in overtime in their previous meeting on January 27, 1998.

SCOUTING ELON
This season, Elon has wins over Erskine and Johnson and Wales. Guard Sean Halloran leads the Phoenix in scoring, averaging 13.2 points per game. Guard Zac Ervin is second on the team in scoring chipping in 11 points per game while connecting on a team-leading 24 three-point field goals. Guard Max Mackinnon rounds out Elon's double-figure scorers averaging 10.4 points per game while grabbing a team-leading 5.1 boards per game.
