Charleston, S.C. – For the second time in as many games, fifth-year senior Jade Compton recorded a double-double with 26 points and tied a career-high with 15 rebounds as the Presbyterian College women's basketball team picked up a 60-49 victory over Charleston Southern from Buccaneer Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

Scoring the Game
- The Blue Hose and Bucs battled in the early going with the hosts taking an early 11-7 lead as CSU used the three-ball in the first to get out to a fast start. PC answered over the final four minutes with a 5-1 spurt to even the game at 12 after the opening stanza. PC posted a 55.6% field goal percentage in the opening 10 minutes.
- Both teams traded threes to open the second quarter before a 4-0 run from the Blue Hose pushed it to 19-15 with 5:39 to play in the first half. Charleston Southern used the three-ball throughout the first half to keep it tight as a three-pointer with 3:48 to play in the half made it a one-point game. Compton and Carter each connected on late buckets down the stretch to push it to a halftime score of 25-23.
- Similar to the first two quarters, both teams traded early baskets leading to a 27-27 game with 6:54 to play in the third quarter. PC used a 5-0 spurt to extend it to 32-27 in just 45 seconds. CSU used a 6-2 spurt to cut it to one, 34-33 with 3:07 to play in the quarter. PC closed the stanza on a 5-2 run to take a 39-35 lead to the fourth quarter.
- PC and CSU battled in the early part of the fourth quarter with a tie game at 44 as we had 6:20 to play in the fourth. PC used a 10-0 run over the next five minutes to take a 54-44 lead en route to a 60-49 victory on Saturday over the host Charleston Southern.

- Jade Compton led all scorers on Saturday with 26 points and she tied a career-high with 15 rebounds. Tionna Carter added 14 points in the victory. Maleia Bracone had a team-high five assists. Alyssia Faye and Janaia Fargo each led the Bucs with 10 points apiece. Madison Adamson had a team-high eight rebounds, while Sharita Godfrey dished out a team-best seven helpers.
