PC as a team are hitting .329 which is second-best in the conference only behind league-leaders USC Upstate. Layna Johnson and Morgan Hess lead the team with a .383 avg., which is good enough for eighth and ninth in the Big South. The Blue Hose have also used their speed to their advantage, swiping 33-35 bags this year which ranks 29th in the nation at stolen bases per game (1.83).
