CLINTON, S.C... – Freshman Claudia Sanchez rallied from down a set to win a three-set singles match on Tuesday as Charleston Southern picked up the 6-1 Big South win at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charleston Southern got out to a fast start with a 6-1 victory at the No. 3 spot before a 6-3 win at the No. 1 position to claim the early 1-0 lead.
- CSU also led 4-3 at the No. 2 spot before the match was called due to the guests already clinching the doubles point.
- The Bucs pushed the advantage to 2-0 with a straight-set win at No. 5 singles. The guest continued to carry the momentum on Tuesday with a straight-set win at No. 2 and 6 to clinch the match.
- CSU added two singles wins at No. 1 and 4 with Sanchez earning the win to give Charleston Southern a 6-1 final result.
