CLINTON, S.C..  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (8-7) behind five doubles and 10 singles wins defeated the Mercer Bears (5-8), 7-0, and the Montreat College Cavaliers (3-6), 5-2, at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

MATCH ONE VERSUS MERCER
DOUBLES
The Blue Hose won two doubles matches to capture the doubles point for the eighth time this season. Presbyterian's
Max Benson and
Dusan Milanovic claimed the first doubles win with a 7-6 (7-5) victory on court one. The doubles tandem of
Javier Matos and
Pedro Cardoso clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose after outlasting Mercer's Alexandr Koliev and Marceau Fouilhoux, 7-6 (13-11) at number three doubles. Â

SINGLES
Presbyterian won all six singles matches including four of them in straight sets to complete the 7-0 victory over Mercer. Milanovic gave the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead with his 6-1, 6-3 win at number two singles. At number three singles, Matos collected Presbyterian's third point with a 6-2, 6-0 win. At number five singles, Cardoso clinched the overall victory for the Blue Hose with a 6-3, 6-3 win. At number four singles,
Nicholas McKinney recorded a 7-5, 6-3 win. At number six singles,
Teo Cariov outlasted Mercer's Samuel Barros, 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7). At number one singles, Benson made the final score 7-0 after he won a hard-fought 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (12-10) win over Mercer's Lucas Wayenburg.

MATCH TWO VERSUS MONTREAT
DOUBLES
The Blue Hose won all three doubles matches to capture the doubles point for the ninth time this season. Presbyterian's Benson and Milanovic posted the Blue Hose's first doubles win with an impressive 6-0 victory at number one. The doubles tandem of
Javier Matos and
Pedro Cardoso clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-3 win at number two doubles. The doubles team of
Daniel Martens and Babic completed the doubles sweep with a 6-4 victory at number three doubles.

SINGLES
Presbyterian won four of the six singles matches to claim the overall victory. At number five singles, Cariov put the first singles point on the board for the Blue Hose with a 6-0, 6-1 win. At number six singles, Martens put Presbyterian in front, 3-0, with his 6-3, 6-1 win. Milanovic clinched the overall win for the Blue Hose with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at number two singles. At number four singles, Cardoso made the final margin of victory, 5-2, with his 4-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-6) win.
