CLINTON, S.C. – Behind two doubles and three singles wins, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (14-10) defeated the UNC Asheville Bulldogs (9-8), 4-0, to advance to the semifinals of the Big South Championship.

"We played great in doubles with awesome energy," Presbyterian coach
John Collins said. "It was incredible having so many fans out supporting us, it was a really fun environment. Â We executed really well in doubles. In singles, we had a meeting last weekend about focusing more on effort. I thought we did a good job with that mentality today. Every guy here was challenged and we got it done."

DOUBLES
For the 15th time this season, the Blue Hose captured the doubles point. On court one, Presbyterian's
Max Benson and
Dusan Milanovic cruised to a 6-1 win. With the victory, the doubles tandem of Benson and Milanovic recorded their 17
th win. Then,
Javier Matos and
Sebastian Dominguez clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-2 win on court three.

SINGLES
Presbyterian won three singles matches to secure the overall victory. At number four singles, Matos posted a 6-3, 6-3 win for his 14
th victory of the season. At number one singles, Milanovic rallied to put the third point on the scoreboard for the Blue Hose in a 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 triumph. With the win, Milanovic also recorded his 14
th win of the season.
Georgije Babic clinched the victory for the Blue Hose with a 6-4, 6-4 win at number five singles. Babic's win was his tenth of the season.

UP NEXT
Presbyterian, who is the fourth seed, will play number one seed, Campbell, in the semifinals of the Big South Championship next Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m. The semifinals and championship matches will be played at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
