BIG SOUTH WEEKLY HONORS
Presbyterian has had five players garner Big South weekly honors this season This week,
Dusan Milanovic was named Big South Freshman of the Week for the fifth time (January 19, March 2, March 16, March 23, and April 6).
Javier Matos captured the Big South Player of the Week accolades for the first time in his career on March 16.
Max Benson was named Big South Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career on February 16.
Sebastian Dominguez (January 19) and
Georgije Babic (February 2) garnered league player of the week honors this season for the first time in their careers.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Matos and Milanovic are tied for the team lead with 13 singles wins apiece. Dominguez has recorded 12 wins this season. Benson has collected ten wins.
Nicholas McKinney has won four straight matches giving him nine wins this spring. Babic has recorded eight wins.
Teo Cariov has won six of his last eight matches.
Pedro Cardoso has recorded four singles wins.
The doubles tandem of Benson and Milanovic, who have been nationally ranked this season, have won a team-leading 15 matches at number one doubles. The doubles team of Dominguez and Matos have won six of their last seven matches at number three doubles.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL CAMELS
The Camels have clinched the Big South regular-season title with a 6-0 record in league play. Campbell has won 11 straight matches. Tomas Balazi and Pol Otin are tied for the team lead with 12 singles wins apiece. The doubles team of Benjamin Maes and Damien Nezar has tallied 11 wins this spring.
