CLINTON, S.C. – Behind goals by Gerard Lopez and Ben Kaindu and a stout total team defensive performance, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (4-0-0) remain undefeated with a 2-0 shutout victory over the ETSU Bucs (3-1-0) at Martin Stadium.

"Tonight we put a lot together," Presbyterian coach Jonathan Potter said. "Our backline played really well. We were really worried about ETSU coming into the game because they have some great goal scorers. I thought we did an amazing job. To find the second goal by Ben Kaindu was huge for our team. I couldn't be prouder of our team."
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
In the 55^th minute, Presbyterian's David Citron was driving with the ball toward the ETSU goal when he was fouled in the box by ETSU's goalkeeper Marc Kouadio resulting in a penalty kick. Lopez converted on the penalty kick for his second goal of the season.

In the 69^th minute, Presbyterian's Kaindu beat a few ETSU defenders. He then blasted a shot on the ground from the right side of the box that went just inside the left post giving the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead.
 
NOTABLES

• Presbyterian's behind the play of goalkeeper Leo Stritter and defenders Cheikh Atamao, Connor Hudson, and Jordan Johnson anchored a Blue Hose defense that posted their third shutout of the season.
• While ETSU finished the game with 15 shots, Presbyterian's defense limited the Bucs to just three shots on goal.
• The Blue Hose tallied nine shots with Luke Gladden and Lorenzo Nagy pacing Presbyterian with two shots apiece. Lopez, Kaindu, Uriel Ferguson, Nacho Gallego, and Nile Nguidjol each added a shot to the Blue Hose's offensive attack.
