HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-6-1, Big South: 2-1-1) dropped a tightly contested game, 1-0, on the road at the High Point Panthers (7-2-2, Big South: 4-0-0) on Wednesday evening.

"This was a tough loss," Presbyterian coach
Nick Finotti said. "We played hard and really competed tonight. We had a really good game plan. We just didn't convert on our scoring chances and High Point was able to convert on one of theirs. We gave everything we had tonight. Now we will get back to work and get ready for Saturday's game."

In the 76
th minute, High Point's Finn McRobb headed in Jefferson Amaya's corner kick for the game's only goal.

NOTABLES
- Presbyterian goalkeeper James Dee finished the game with seven saves which included several highlight saves.
- The Blue Hose finished the game with nine shots led by Sandro Rabarivony's two shots. Lorenzo Nagy, Damorney Hutchinson, Carson Griffith, Reudd Manin, Jamari Busby, Victor Faaborg Christensen, and Nile Nguidjol each recorded a shot.
- In the 32nd minute, Rabarivony posted the Blue Hose's first shot on goal but it was stopped by High Point goalkeeper Josh Caron. Early in the second half in the 46th minute, Presbyterian's Faaborg Christensen recorded a shot on goal but his shot was stopped by High Point's Caron. Nguidjol had the PC's other shot on goal with a scoring attempt in the 76th minute.
