CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (1-0) cruised past the Newberry Wolves, 6-1, in their final tennis match of the fall at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Friday afternoon.

DOUBLES
Presbyterian captured the doubles point with wins at number three and one doubles. At number three doubles, Presbyterian's
Pedro Cardoso and
Austin Skoog did not drop a game in a 6-0 win. At number one doubles, Presbyterian's
Javier Matos and
Denim Yadav clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-1 victory. Â Â Â

SINGLES
PC won five of the six singles matches to claim the overall victory. At number five singles, Presbyterian's
Loup Alleno put the first singles point on the board for the Blue Hose with a 6-0, 6-0 win. At number two singles, Presbyterian's Cardoso recorded a 6-1, 6-2 win. At number four singles, Presbyterian's
David Mamalat clinched the overall win for the Blue Hose with a 6-2, 6-2 decision. At number one singles, Presbyterian's Matos won a thrilling three-set match, 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 (10-5). At number three singles, Presbyterian Yadav closed out the scoring for the Blue Hose with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
