CLINTON, S.C. – The 14th-ranked Presbyterian College Blue Hose (0-1) Acrobatics and Tumbling team battled the sixth-ranked Limestone Saints (2-0) before coming up short in a 258.090 to 247.660 setback in their season-opening meet at the Templeton Center on Friday evening.

Kara Christian said. "We gave everything we had on the mat tonight. It was a hard-fought loss. We are excited to get back on the mat at Baylor next weekend, and show the world what we got."

HOW IT HAPPENED
* The Blue Hose began the meet with a score of 34.50 in the Compulsory Event, with the best scores of 9.05 in the Pyramid and 8.95 in the Toss Heats.
* Presbyterian recorded a score of 25.30 in the Acro Event, which included a high score of 8.85 in the 7-Element Heat.
* In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose finished with a score of 27.90, with a high score of 9.70 in the Open and a 9.65 Synchronized Heats.
* In the Toss Event, Presbyterian garnered a score of 25.45 with a high score of 8.65 in the 450 Salto.
* In the Tumbling Event, Presbyterian collected a score of 47.65 led by
Abby Katz's 9.250 in the Open Pass.
* Presbyterian closed out the meet with an 86.86 in the Team Event.
