CLINTON, S.C.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (1-7) won all six events to cruise past the Bluefield State Big Blue (0-5), 237.940 to 119.500, on Senior Day at the Templeton Center on Saturday afternoon. Presbyterian honored seniors Anna Ruiz and Avery Michowski after the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Hose outscored Bluefield State, 34.35 to 20.30, in the Compulsory Event. Presbyterian posted scores of 9.50 in the Pyramid and Toss Heats.
• Presbyterian topped Bluefield State, 26.55 to 18.05, in the Acro Heat. The Blue Hose recorded a score of 9.60 in the 7-Element Heat.
• In the Pyramid Event, Presbyterian outscored Bluefield State, 28.20 to 23.65, with a score of 9.50 in the Open Heat.
• In the Toss Event, Presbyterian topped Bluefield State, 26.10 to 22.45, with a season-high tying score of 8.75 in the 450 Salto Heat.
• In the Tumbling Event, the Blue Hose outscored Bluefield State, 46.30 to 35.05, with a high score of 8.50 in the Aerial Pass.
• Presbyterian finished the meet with a score of 76.44 in the Team Event.

• In the Compulsory Event Pyramid Heat, the Blue Hose team of Carson DeRoss, Anna Ruiz, Iveren Asom, Avery Michowski, Victoria Smith, Abigail Davidson, Julia Petz, Sofia Cipriani, Brooklyn Holik, Abby Gallicho, Taylor Gooding, Alyssa O'Keefe, and Mia Cantu posted a score of 9.50.
• In the Compulsory Event Toss Heat, the Blue Hose team of Kayla Miller, Aisha Edmond, Smith, Gooding, Cipriani, O'Keefe, Petz, Ruiz, Michowski, Gallicho, and Holik recorded a score of 9.50.
• In the Acro Event 7-Element Heat, the team of  Edmond, Gallicho, Petz, Ruiz, and Smith picked up a score of 9.60.
• The Pyramid Event Open Heat team of Asom, Michowski, Ruiz, Petz, Edmond, Smith, Gooding, Cipriani, and Gallicho with a score of 9.50.
• In the Toss Event 450 Salto Heat, Presbyterian's team of Addie Catledge, Cipriani, Gooding, O'Keefe, Smith, and Holik posted a season-high tying score of 8.75.
• In the Tumbling Event Aerial Pass, Presbyterian's Asom recorded a score of 8.50.
