CLINTON, S.C. – After going down four runs in the early going, the Presbyterian College baseball team scored six runs over the final four innings to defeat Toledo 7-6 in 10 innings from the PC Baseball Complex on Friday. The comeback was completed when Joel Dragoo laced an RBI single to left field in the 10th inning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Toledo got off to a fast start in the opening half inning with a two-run homer to give the Rockets a 2-0 advantage early on.
- The guests connected on their second two-run homer of the game in the fourth to push the lead to 4-0 for Toledo after 3.5 innings.
- PC got on the board in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI single off the bat of Chase Hughes to cut the deficit to three, 4-1.
- The Blue Hose used a three-run seventh to even the game at four as Dalton Reeves and Ryan Becker connected on RBI singles before a Jay Wetherington hit by pitch tied the game at four.
- Presbyterian pushed in front in the eighth as the Blue Hose took advantage of a Rockets error to score Joel Dragoo and take the 5-4 lead.
- Toledo answered in the ninth with an RBI single to even the game at five, and after Presbyterian was held scoreless in their ninth, it led to bonus baseball on Friday.
- The Rockets connected on a solo home run in the 10th inning to take a 6-5 lead.
- PC answered in its half of the 10th quickly as Kyle Decker connected on a solo shot to straightaway center to even the game at six.
- Following a single from Brody Fahr and a Rockets wild pitch, Dragoo connected on an RBI single to left to finish the victory off for Presbyterian on Friday evening.

- Reeves and Decker led the Blue Hose on Friday with a pair of hits as both knocked in a run in the contest.
- Dragoo and Decker both have hits in their last four games, which is a team-high for Presbyterian.
- Decker's game-tying home run was his first since May 15th, 2022, when the Blue Hose fifth-year senior connected on a blast against Gardner-Webb.
- Decker, Wetherington, and Jack Gorman have each reached base safely in all five games on the season.
- Becker made his college debut in a pinch hit opportunity in the seventh which pushed the deficit to 4-3 at the time.
- Friday's win was PC's first extra-inning victory since April 27th of last season when the Blue Hose downed Western Carolina 11-8 in 10 innings in Cullowhee.
- Colbey Klepper tossed the final 1.2 innings, allowing one run en route to picking up his first win of the 2023 campaign.
- As a team, the Blue Hose were hit by a pitch six times, marking the most a PC team has been hit by a pitch in the same game in the DI era.
