#36 Charlotte Downs PC in Non-Conference Play on Friday Afternoon

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team continued a busy stretch of action on Friday falling in non-conference play to #36 Charlotte by the score of 7-0 at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex in Charlotte.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charlotte got out to the fast start at No. 1 doubles on Friday with a 6-3 win before tallying a 6-2 victory at No.3 doubles to get the early edge.
- After the point had been clinched, the 49ers added a 6-4 win at the No. 2 spot in the doubles lineup.
- Charlotte kept the momentum into singles with a straight-set win at the No. 1 position to make it a 2-0 match. The 49ers pushed it to 3-0 with a straight-set victory at the No.4 spot in the Charlotte lineup before clinching Friday's match with a victory at the No.3 spot in the singles lineup.
- The 49ers added straight-set wins at No.2, 5, 6 en route to the 7-0 victory in non-conference play.
