Blue Hose Gut Out A Home Win Over Campbell On Senior Day

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (7-7, Big South: 1-0) gutted out a 4-3 win over the Campbell Camels (6-4, Big South: 0-1) on Senior Day in the Big South Conference opener for both teams at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon. Before the match, Presbyterian honored seniors Max Benson and Teo Cariov.

"Unbelievable energy and opportunity to play a conference match at home," Presbyterian coach John Collins said. "We have had some great matches with Campbell in the past and we knew this would be another great one. We have been working on some things as a team. While we weren't perfect. We fought really hard and saw the fruits of that labor."

The Blue Hose captured the doubles point for the sixth straight match and for the tenth time this season. Campbell posted a win at number three doubles but the Blue Hose stormed back with wins at number one and two doubles to claim the doubles point.
