CLINTON, S.C. – The No. 14 Presbyterian College Blue Hose (0-4) Acrobatics and Tumbling team won the Pyramid Event highlighted by a 9.95 in the Open Pyramid but the Blue Hose lost a tightly contested meet, 250.105 to 243.985 to No. 7 Fairmont State (4-0) in the Templeton Center on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hose began the meet with a season-high score of 35.55 in the Compulsory Event with a high score of 9.40 in the Acro and Toss Heats.
- Presbyterian scored 24.55 in the Acro Event which included a high score of 8.65 in the 6-Element Heat.
- In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose scored 27.90 with program-best tying scores of 9.75 in the Synchronized Pyramid and 9.95 in the Open Pyramid.
- In the Toss Event, PC scored 25.35 with a season-best score of 8.85 in the Open Heat.
- In the Tumbling Event, the Blue Hose scored 48.075 led by Abby Katz's 9.375 in the Aerial Pass.
- Presbyterian outscored their second straight opponent in the Team Event, 82.56 to 81.33.
