CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Behind four singles wins, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (16-9) defeated the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (16-7), 4-1, to win the Big South Tournament Championship for the third time in school history.

"We tried really hard in doubles, Gardner-Webb played unbelievable," Presbyterian coach
John Collins said. "In singles, we talk about having every guy show up and own their court and fighting no matter what. We did that again today. This is everything our guys have been working hard for all year, I am so proud of their efforts today."

DOUBLES
Gardner-Webb won two doubles matches to claim the doubles point. The Runnin' Bulldogs collected wins at number one and three doubles to capture the doubles point.

SINGLES
Presbyterian rallied with four singles wins to win the Big South Championship.
Sebastian Dominguez tied the score at one with a 6-1, 6-3 win at number three singles. Dominguez's win was his fifth straight and 11th the season. At number five singles,
Javier Matos posted his 15
th straight and 18th8
th win of the season with a 6-2, 6-1 win giving the Blue Hose a 2-1 lead. At number four singles,
Denim Yadav collected his sixth straight and 11
th win of the season with a 6-4, 6-2 decision which gave the Blue Hose a 3-1 lead. Then, Presbyterian only needed one win to claim the Championship. PC was leading in the third set in the remaining three matches when at number one singles,
Dusan Milanovic won 6-7, 6-3, 6-2, to clinch the victory for the Blue Hose. Milanovic's win was his 12
th straight and 19
th of the season. Â

- Presbyterian won the Big South Tournament Championship in 2017, 2021, and 2023. The Blue Hose have made the Finals six times: 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2021, and 2023.
- The victory was Presbyterian's eighth straight and the Blue Hose have won 12 of their last 14 matches.
