RADFORD, Va. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (1-7-1, Big South: 0-1-0) lost on the road to the Radford Highlanders (5-4-1, Big South: 1-0-0), 3-1, in their Big South opening game. Sophomore forward
Lina-Marie Müller scored Presbyterian's goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the fifth minute, Radford put the first goal on the board when Eileen Albers scored off assists from Alexeis Kimos and Paige Olson.
- In the 12th minute, Radford's Albers scored her second goal of the game off assists from Olson and Katelyn O'Donnell.
- In the 15th minute, Radford's Albers recorded a hat trick with her third goal of the game off an assist from Elyse Beaudry.
- In the 58th minute, Presbyterian's Müller scored an opportunistic goal when a Radford defender's pass back to the Highlanders goalkeeper came up short and Müller pounced on the ball putting it in the back of the net for her second goal of the season.
