The Presbyterian College volleyball team will make up their match against Charleston Southern that was postponed earlier in the season. On Tuesday, October 15 the Blue Hose will travel to Charleston, South Carolina for a Big South Conference battle with the Buccaneers.

The Blue Hose swept the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Saturday in Templeton Center where the team bested the opponents in kills (43-36), blocks (9-5), and assists (38-35).
Courtney Williams led the team with 10 kills while hitting at a .364 hitting percentage.
Brittney Daphnis took eight kills with an impressive .636 hitting percentage while adding four blocks.
Anna Baranski finished with 29 assists, five kills, and six digs while
Celimar Hoyos added 15 digs and two service aces.
A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE
- The Blue Hose currently hold a 5-12 record, securing their wins in hard-fought five-set matches against Delaware State, Temple, and Southern Miss along with straight-set victories over SC State and Gardner-Webb.
- The team has averaged a .172 hitting percentage while taking 10.6 kills per set. They've also shown strength at the net, amassing 130 total blocks (1.90 blocks per set).

Brittney Daphnis is a close second, adding 50 blocks, including six solo blocks.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
- The Buccaneers have tallied a 3-14 record so far this season, while seeing a pair of victories over Furman and one against Tennessee State. CSU is currently on a 10-match losing streak and looks to turn their luck around against PC.
- As a team, Charleston Southern has averaged 11.8 kills per set while hitting at a .154 rate.
- Junior outside hitter Skylar Yates leads the Buccaneers with 181 kills (3.07 kills per set) while also leading the team defensively with 150 digs (2.54 digs per set).
- Junior Ilaria Durante is the team's go to setter as she has amassed 317 assists (5.28 assists per set).
- Sophomore middle blocker Brenna Rowland is the team's biggest threat at the net with 54 total blocks which includes an impressive 19 solo efforts.
- Head coach Carry Brown is in her second season at the helm of the Buccaneers volleyball program.
- The Blue Hose lead the all-time series between the two teams 21-15. Presby beat the Buccaneers twice last year, with their last matchup going to a deciding fifth set.
BIG SOUTH LEADERS
The Blue Hose volleyball team currently ranks third in the Big South Conference with an impressive 15.75 digs per set, having accumulated a total of 1071 digs this season.
Individually,
Anna Baranski stands out, ranking third in the conference with 7.53 assists per set. She also places sixth with an average of 3.01 digs per set.
Courtney Williams is ranked seventh in the league with a .289 hitting percentage while also placing seventh with 0.84 blocks per set.
Hannah Rowe's serving strength shines, as she averages 0.42 service aces per set, placing her third in the conference, and she also ranks 10th with 2.74 digs per set.
Brittney Daphnis contributes significantly on defense, ranking fourth with 0.96 blocks per set. Additionally,
Celimar Hoyos holds eighth place in the conference with an average of 2.92 digs per set.
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Presbyterian players have already recorded an impressive 17 double-doubles this year. Junior setter
Anna Baranski has been at the forefront, achieving double-doubles in 12 of those contests, including nine-straight matches with double-figure assists and digs. Senior outside hitter
Hannah Rowe has also made a significant impact, tallying five double-doubles, including a standout performance against Southern Miss where she notched a career-high 19 kills along with 14 digs.
