BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Isabel Lasota played a part in all three Presbyterian goals with two goals and an assist as the Blue Hose (6-3-2, Big South: 1-0-1) topped the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (2-9-3, Big South: 0-2-2), 3-1, on the road on Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 39th minute, Presbyterian scored the game's first goal when Sarah Dieffenderfer got the ball outside the left side of the box near the touchline. She passed to Allie Williams who crossed the ball to Lasota near the right post. Lasota headed the ball into the upper corner of the goal.
- In the 42nd minute, Presbyterian doubled their score when Lasota's pass from the right side of the field found Sydney Lassiter in the box 15 yards from goal. Lassiter tapped the ball to Lindsey Malyszek who blasted a shot inside the left post into the back of the net. Malyszek's goal was her fourth of the season.
- In the 63rd minute, Presbyterian's Dieffenderfer had a great thru ball to a streaking Lasota inside the right side of the box. Lasota then blasted the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal giving the Blue Hose a 3-0 lead.
- In the 74th minute, Gardner-Webb's Abby Clark converted a penalty kick for the game's final score.

- Lasota with her two goals now has three goals on the season.
- Presbyterian finished the game with an 18-13 advantage in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks. Sloan Spees led the Blue Hose with five shots with four shots on goal. Malyszek recorded four shots. Gwen Keiser chipped in with three shots. Lasota made the most of her shots with two goals on two shots. Ella Williams, Abby Ferris, Emilia Lieber, and Lassiter contributed with a shot apiece.
- Goalkeeper Kelly Hall collected seven saves in the win.
