CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's volleyball team will close out their regular season with a final home match against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers on Friday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. The team will also recognize their three seniors prior to the first serve.

Last weekend the Blue Hose defeated Radford before falling to High Point the next day. In PC's five-set victory over the Highlanders,
Anna Baranski led the team with 31 assists while also posting nine kills and nine digs.
Ashley Miller tied her career-high of 18 kills while earning personal-bests in digs (14) and service aces (4).

A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE
- The Blue Hose currently hold a 8-18 record, securing their wins in hard-fought five-set matches against Delaware State, Temple, Southern Miss, USC Upstate, and Radford along with straight-set victories over SC State and Gardner-Webb (x2).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
- The Buccaneers have tallied a 4-9 Big South Conference record, securing their wins over Presbyterian, UNC Asheville, Gardner-Webb, and High Point.
- As a team, Charleston Southern has averaged 12.0 kills per set while hitting at a .172 rate.
- Junior outside hitter Skylar Yates leads the Buccaneers with 298 kills (3.17 kills per set) while also being one of the team's dig leaders with 245 (2.61 digs per set).
- Junior Ilaria Durante is the team's go to setter as she has amassed 665 assists (7.00 assists per set).
- Sophomore middle blocker Brenna Rowland is the team's biggest threat at the net with 98 total blocks which includes an impressive 34 solo efforts.
- Head coach Carry Brown is in her second season at the helm of the Buccaneers volleyball program.
- The Blue Hose lead the all-time series between the two teams 21-16. Earlier this season, the Buccaneers beat PC at their place 3-0.

Individually, Baranski ranks third in the conference with 7.25 assists per set. She also places ninth with an average of 3.10 digs per set.Â
Courtney Williams is ranked eighth in the league with a .258 hitting percentage while also placing tied for ninth with 0.78 blocks per set.

Brittney Daphnis contributes significantly on defense, ranking seventh in the Big South with 0.82 blocks per set. Additionally,Â

Presbyterian players have already recorded an impressive 23 double-doubles this year. Junior setterÂ
Anna Baranski has been at the forefront, achieving double-doubles in 18 of those contests, including a nine-match streak with double-figure assists and digs earlier in the season. Most recently, Baranski took a pair of triple-doubles against USC Upstate and UNC Asheville.

Hannah Rowe has also made a significant impact, tallying five double-doubles, including a standout performance against Southern Miss where she notched a career-high 19 kills along with 14 digs.

BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
Ashley Miller earned the title of Big South Player of the Week on Oct. 28 after her performance against Gardner-Webb and Winthrop. Playing a full rotation as an outside hitter, Miller delivered a remarkable weekend performance. She tallied 26 kills, averaging 4.33 kills per set, and set a new career-high with 18 kills in the team's sweep over Gardner-Webb. The sophomore also contributed nine digs, three blocks, and a service ace, showcasing her versatility and impact on both offense and defense.

Celimar Hoyos earned the title of Big South Libero of the Week on Oct. 28 after her performance against Gardner-Webb and Winthrop. Hoyos showcased her defensive prowess with an impressive 36 digs (6.00 digs per set) over six sets last weekend. She also contributed nine assists and a service ace, reinforcing her all-around impact and helping drive the team's performance on both ends of the court.
