CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (6-6) fell to the Miami Hurricanes (4-7), 94-75, on the road on Sunday afternoon.
Kory Mincy led the Blue Hose with 14 points.
Kaleb Scott,
Kobe Stewart, and
Carl Parrish chipped in with 13 points apiece.
Jaylen Peterson nearly recorded a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Miami scored the game's first four points. Then, the Blue Hose behind two free throws from Stewart, a dunk from Scott, and a three from Mincy scored seven straight points.
Miami scored five straight points to regain the lead. Then, Parrish knocked down a three from the top of the key putting PC back in front, 10-9, with 14:26 on the clock. Miami regained the lead for good after a 6-0 scoring run. The Hurricanes led the Blue Hose, 49-33, at the half.
SECOND HALF – The Blue Hose battled Miami in the half with the Hurricanes barely outscoring the Blue Hose, 45-42, in the half. Presbyterian cut Miami's lead to 16 points three times in the half, but PC could not get any closer.

- Scott posted his third double-digit scoring game of the season with 13 points
- Mincy reached the double-figure plateau for the 11th time this season with his 14 points.
- Stewart scored in double-figures for the eighth time this season with his 13 points.
- Parrish's 13 points marked his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season.
- Peterson reached double-figure points for the fourth time this season with his 12 points which were all scored in the second half.
- Presbyterian only had three turnovers in the game which marked PC's lowest turnover total since a three-turnover game on December 13, 2023.
