CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (5-2) beat the Saint Joseph's Hawks (2-1) after 10 innings of competition.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After four scoreless innings from both sides, the Blue Hose got on the board first after a homerun to left field by
Joel Dragoo.
- Saint Joseph's scored their first runs of the game in the sixth inning where they hit a two-run homer over the center field wall.
- While trailing by one run in the bottom of the eighth inning, Presbyterian's
Rhogue Wallace hit a triple to right center field. Not long after an error on the Hawks catcher allowed Wallace to make it home and tie up the game at two runs apiece.
- After a solid defensive ninth inning from both teams, we headed to extra innings with the score still tied at two runs each.

Tanner Smith took the mound for the top of the 10
th inning where he prevented Saint Joseph's from taking any runs.

Ryan Ouzts singled to the shortstop to begin the bottom of the 10
th before
Ryan Becker hit a double to left center field, pushing Ouzts to third base. Wallace bunted a single but the Hawks defense kept Ouzts on third. A wild pitch gave Ouzts a chance to make it home and he took full advantage of the opportunity, securing a 3-2 extra innings victory for the Blue Hose.
