WILMINGTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's tennis team (2-4) lost to the UNCW Seahawks (2-0) with a final score of 6-1.

DOUBLES
The Seahawks swept the trio of doubles matchups with a score of 6-4 in the number two spot, 6-3 in the number one spot, and 6-4 in the number three spot.
SINGLES
UNCW's Katelyn Hubbard defeated PC's
Valentina De Sousa 6-0, 6-4 in the number four spot to give the Seahawks the first singles point of the day. In the number two spot, Presbyterian's
Claudia Sanchez beat UNCW's Stela Joksimovic 7-5, 6-2. UNC Wilmington won the rest of the singles matches including a very close matchup between PC's
D'Estree Colalancia and UNCW's Alicia Eberwein in the number five spot. Eberwein won in the tie breaking set with a score of 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.
