CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As a result of his play in Presbyterian's three wins last week, junior
Pedro Cardoso claimed Big South Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Cardoso earned his first career Big South Player of the Week award. He is the 14
th different player in the program's history to capture the Big South Player of the Week award.

PLAY LAST WEEK
The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native recorded three singles wins and three doubles wins with three different partners in helping the Blue Hose post a perfect 3-0 record last week.

In Presbyterian's 4-3 win over Lander on January 29, he recorded a 6-3, 6-4 win at number five singles. He also teamed with
David Mamalat to collect a 6-1 win at number three doubles.

In Presbyterian's 5-2 win over Limestone on February 3, he tallied a 6-1, 6-1 win at number four singles. He teamed with
Austin Skoog to record a 6-3 win at number three doubles which clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose.

In Presbyterian's 5-2 win over Queens on February 4, he won 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6) at number five singles. He also teamed with
Evgenios Vasilakis to clinch the doubles point for PC with a 6-4 win at number three doubles.Â

Cardoso has tallied an identical 4-2 record in singles and doubles play this season.
