TEMPE, Ariz. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's tennis team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for its work in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. Presbyterian was one of 159 Division I programs to receive the Team Academic Award.

Denim Yadav were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
TEAM ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The criteria for the team award include having a team grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the current academic year.
For the sixth straight season and the 13th time in the program's history, the Blue Hose earned the team academic award. Presbyterian posted a 3.30 team GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.
ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
Individuals must have had at least a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year to be named ITA Scholar-Athlete. This year, 994 Division I men's tennis players were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
EVGENIOS VASILAKIS
This past season, he teamed with
David Mamalat to collect five doubles wins, all on court one. In 2024, he was the Big South Freshman of the Year. The Athens, Greece native had a 3.55 GPA while majoring in Business.
DENIM YADAV
For the third consecutive year,
Denim Yadav earned ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades. This past season, Yadav was a Second-Team All-Big South Doubles and Big South All-Academic team selection. Yadav also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the second straight season. The Indore, India native had a 4.00 GPA, majoring in Computer Science
