MEMPHIS, TENN. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (9-7) fell to the Butler Bulldogs (6-7) with a final score of 4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hose got on the board first after
Jay Wetherington started off the bottom of the third inning with a single to right center.
- Wetherington was able to steal second, before
Aaron Hobson singled to center field.
- Hobson then stole second before
Brody Fahr came up to bat.
- With runners on second and third, Fahr hit a sacrifice fly to left field allowing Wetherington in for a run.
- The Bulldogs took four more runs while holding PC to none throughout the rest of the game, ultimately handing the Blue Hose their first loss of the Grind City Classic.
