Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (9-8) fell to The Citadel (11-5) despite being ahead 2-0 in the top of the fourth inning.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the top of the first inning, Presbyterian's
Brody Fahr recorded the team's first hit of the day with a single down the left field line. On deck was
Joel Dragoo who advanced Fahr to third base after his single through the right side. Fahr stole home to give the Blue Hose the first run of the game.
- After holding the Bulldogs scoreless, the Blue Hose picked up their second run of the day led off by a
Rhogue Wallace's second hit of the day with a single up the middle. Wallace was then able to steal second before advancing to third on a ground out by
Evan Cuervo. This was when
Jackson Hugus hit a double to left field which easily sent Wallace in for his first run of the day.
- The Citadel answered with two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie up the score at two runs apiece.
- The Bulldogs took their first lead of the day in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead 3-2.
- After a scoreless next three and a half innings, The Citadel came out on top with a final score of 3-2.

Rhogue Wallace recorded three hits, one run, and a stolen base.
