CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (6-10) lost to the 51st-ranked Rice Owls (13-6), 4-0, at Charlotte's Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.
DOUBLES
Rice claimed the doubles point with wins on courts three and two.
SINGLES
Rice won three matches to claim the overall victory. The Owls collected wins at number six, three, and four singles. At number two singles,
David Mamalat won the first set 6-4 and was tied in the second set 4-4 when the match was stopped. On court five,
Marco Foglieni won the first set 6-3 and was trailing in the second set 4-3 when the match was stopped.
