CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (7-6) lost a close one to the Western Michigan Broncos (7-5) despite a two-run homer from
Noah Lebron with a final score of 5-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Sean Hollister started on the mound for the Blue Hose where he pitched 2.0 innings and held the Broncos to a mere one hit and no runs.
- Western Michigan scored first, putting up three runs in the top of the third inning.
- They held their 3-0 lead until the bottom of the fourth inning when
Ryan Ouzts picked up an RBI. With runners on first and third
Eli Lazio pulled off a perfect delayed steal which got the catcher to throw down to second base. As he threw
Joel Dragoo was able to run in for a score to cut Presbyterian's deficit down to just one run.
- In the bottom of the sixth,
Noah Lebron hit a longball over the right field wall with a runner on base to give the Blue Hose their first lead of the day with a score of 4-3.
- Western Michigan picked up two more runs in the top of the eighth inning which put them back in front with a score of 5-4.
- With PC unable to bring any runners home in the bottom of the ninth, the final score landed in the Broncos favor.

The Blue Hose head to Tennessee where they will play three games over the weekend, starting with one against Jackson State on Friday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m.
