MEMPHIS, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose baseball team (9-6) won their second straight game at the Grind City Classic after beating the Memphis Tigers (7-9) behind seven innings on the mound from
Charlie McDaniel.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- With the bases loaded, Rhouge Wallace picked up the teams first RBI in the top of the first with a single through the right side.
- While the bases were still loaded,
Jackson Hugus came up to bat where he hit a sacrifice fly to send another runner in and give Presbyterian their second run of the night.
- It didn't take long for the Blue Hose to strike again in the top of the second inning when
Joel Dragoo hit a triple down the left field line, sending
Brody Fahr in for another PC run.
- In the top of the third inning Mikah Connor doubled down the left field line to set up Hugus to take home plate.
- The Tigers scored their only run of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning when they hit a home run, but some solid defense from both sides ended the game with the Blue Hose in front 4-1.
