HIGH POINT, N.C. – In a game that came down to the wire, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (14-18) lost to the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (17-15), 61-60, in the quarterfinals of the Big South Conference Tournament.

Trevon Reddish-Rhone who has been with me the whole time since I've been here the last four years. He's given his blood sweat and tears to the program this season. Just appreciative of my guys the way they fought the entire season and to the end."
Trevon Reddish-Rhone, who made his first eight field goal attempts, finished the game with 18 points.
Samage Teel scored 12 points, dished out seven assists, and grabbed six rebounds.
Kobe Stewart scored 11 points.
Kaleb Scott scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – The two teams exchanged two-point and three-point baskets to start the game. After Gardner-Webb moved in front 7-5, Teel knocked down his second triple of the half and then a dunk by Reddish-Rhone gave the 49ers a 10-7 lead with 16:43 on the clock. The Runnin' Bulldogs scored five straight points to regain the lead. Presbyterian scored six straight points behind baskets from Teel, Reddish-Rhone, and Scott moving the Blue Hose back in front 16-12. Gardner-Webb tied the score at 16. The two teams exchanged baskets but then after a foul line jumper from
Jamahri Harvey and a fastbreak layup by Reddish-Rhone, the Blue Hose moved back in front 22-19 with 9:07 on the clock. The Runnin' Bulldogs scored six of the next seven points taking a 25-23 lead. The Blue Hose would go on an 11-0 run which began with
Kory Mincy converting on a contested jumper with 5:34 left in the half. Stewart finished the run off with a corner three with 1:17 on the clock giving the Blue Hose a 34-25 lead. Scott and Reddish-Rhone also scored during the run. Gardner-Webb made two free throws with one second left on the clock cutting Presbyterian's halftime lead to 34-27.
SECOND HALF – Presbyterian scored the first five points of the second half behind a three from Stewart and a dunk from Scott. The Blue Hose maintained the lead for the majority of the second half. With 12:52 on the clock, Gardner-Webb connected on a fastbreak layup cutting Presbyterian's lead to five points. Harvey answered with a three from the top of the key moving the Blue Hose back in front by eight. With 9:54 on the clock, Presbyterian led 49-41, then, Gardner-Webb went on a 12-2 tun taking a 53-51 lead with 4:35 left in the game. Presbyterian tied the score a couple of times. With 2:46 on the clock, Scott scored inside off an offensive rebound giving PC a 57-55 lead. Gardner-Webb scored four straight points regaining the lead. With 14 seconds on the clock. Stewart gave the Blue Hose a 60-59 lead after completing a difficult three-point play that began with an athletic offensive rebound. Gardner-Webb's Quest Aldridge made two free throws with three seconds on the clock giving the Runnin' Bulldogs a 61-60 win.

- Reddish-Rhone tallied his 12th double-digit scoring game of the season and the 42nd of his career with his 18-point performance.
