CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (19-17, BSC: 10-2) beat the Winthrop Eagles (13-20-1, 4-8) with a final score of 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first two innings, Winthrop got on the board in the top of the third, giving them a 2-0 lead.
- After a quiet next three innings,
Noah Lebron drew a walk, setting the stage for
Jack Gorman to put runners in scoring position with a single through the left side. After a change in pitchers by the Eagles,
Jake Randolph delivered a decisive blow, smashing a double up the middle to bring home the team's first run of the day. With runners on second and third,
Jackson Hugus crushed a two RBI double down the left field line to give the Blue Hose their first lead of the day with a score of 3-2.
- Winthrop answered in the top of the seventh inning with a game tying home run.

Jay Wetherington ripped a standup triple down the right field line before Fahr's sacrifice fly brought Wetherington racing home, clinching a narrow 4-3 lead that held steady for the remainder of the game.
