Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (19-18) fell to the Wofford Terriers (25-10) on Tuesday evening after seven innings of play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first inning, the Terriers took the lead with a three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning.

Eli Lazio drew a walk to open the third inning, setting the stage for
Jay Wetherington's sacrifice bunt which advanced Lazio to second base.
Brody Fahr's well-placed single to the pitcher elevated the momentum, allowing Lazio to take third base. The breakthrough came when Lazio capitalized on a wild pitch, taking the opportunity to dash home and put the Blue Hose on the scoreboard. Fahr's heads-up baserunning moved him to second base, setting the stage for
Joel Dragoo's impactful moment. Dragoo connected with an RBI double down the left field line, narrowing Wofford's lead to a score of 4-2.
- The Terrier's picked up another three runs in the bottom of the third inning, extending their lead to five runs.
- A quiet fourth inning led us to the bottom of the fifth inning where Wofford scored 15 runs to make the score 22-2.
- In the top of the sixth inning,
Mikah Conner came in as a pinch hitter and delivered with a double down the left field line. Shortly after,
Jake Randolph's RBI single up the middle brought Conner home, adding another tally for Presby.
- The opponents scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and closed out the game with a final score of 24-3 after seven innings.
