CHARLESTON, S.C. – Behind a seven-run fourth inning and a six-run sixth inning, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (23-22, Big South: 13-6) cruised past the Charleston Southern Buccaneers (18-24, Big South: 9-7), 14-4, on the road in game one of their three-game Big South series.
Eight Blue Hose recorded hits in the game, led by
Joel Dragoo's three hits.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hose scratched across the game's first run after Jake Randolph, who reached base on a single to left field, scored on Jay Wetherington's single to center field in the second inning.
- Presbyterian plates seven runs on seven hits in the fourth inning. Randolph, Jackson Hugus, Wetherington, Brody Fahr, and Dragoo had run-scoring hits in the inning. Noah Lebron had a sacrifice fly in the inning as well. Dragoo, Lebron, Randolph, Hugus, Wetherington, Eli Lazio, and Jack Gorman scored.
- In the sixth inning, Presbyterian scored six runs on five hits with the big blows of the inning being a two-run homer over the left center field wall by Gorman and a three-run homer over the left field wall by Hugus.
- Charleston Southern scored two runs in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh inning to close out the scoring for the game.
