PC Football Announces Promotional Schedule for 2024 Home Events

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College football team has announced a hefty slate of promotional activities and special occasions for each of its six home games in the 2024 season, denoting every event at Bailey Memorial Stadium with a dish of significance.

Beyond the usual pomp that encompasses a PC football home game, the university has announced that each contest – beginning with the home opener on September 14 versus Virginia-Lynchburg – will include a unique spin that will involve numerous members of the Clinton community and Blue Hose fan base.

More details on all six events will become available later in the semester. A brief description of each promotion can be seen below, or on the team's official schedule near the top of this page.

Don't forget that single-game tickets to any of the following encounters are currently on sale. A link to purchase those seats can be found directly below, or on the "tickets" section of Presbyterian's official athletics website.

PC Football Single-Game Tickets

Sat., September 14: Letterwinners / Scotsman Club Day
Vs. Virginia-Lynchburg (1:00 PM)

As Presby looks to flex their muscles and best the VUL Dragons for the third consecutive year, PC will invite and honor past letterwinners and celebrate our dedicated supporters in the 2024 home opener.

The start of a three-game home stretch, the Virginia-Lynchburg meeting will offer up a great chance to connect with the history and community surrounding Presbyterian football.

Sat., September 21: Youth Sports Day / Hometown Heroes
Vs. Gardner-Webb (7:00 PM)

In the first bout to be held under the lights at Bailey Memorial since 2022, head coach Steve Englehart's club will wrap up the non-conference slate by welcoming Gardner-Webb for another night of community celebration.

PC will recognize local youth athletes and honor our hometown heroes who make a difference daily.

The last duel before Pioneer Football League play, it's already shaping up to be an interesting evening on the gridiron as the Blue Hose go head-to-head with a foe who tied for the best league record in the revamped Big South/OVC merger a year ago.

Sat., September 28: Carolina Border Clash / 864 Community Day
Vs. Davidson (7:00 PM)

Coach E's group will race back onto the field for a second straight weekend of nighttime action and the next chapter in the 100-plus year history of the Carolina Border Clash feud with Davidson.

In a rivalry that always brings some extra flavor, fans are encouraged to flood the stands at Bailey Memorial and celebrate the spirit of our region for 864 Community Day.

This will be the 35th all-time meeting between the two schools, with the annual half-blue/half-red trophy up for grabs.

Sat., October 19: Homecoming / Salute to Service
Vs. Drake (1:00 PM)

PC's lone home date in the month of October will serve as Homecoming weekend against last season's PFL regular season champions who will enter Clinton for the first time ever.

When Drake hosted the Blue Hose in Des Moines eight months back, the result was a two-point thriller as Presby nearly toppled the squad who eventually made the PFL's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs.

It's sure to be a memorable Homecoming as special exhibits, activities, and tributes will be on hand to honor those who have served in the United States military.

Sat., November 2: Decades Day / Faith Day & FCA
Vs. Dayton (1:00 PM)

PC invites alumni from all decades to join in for a special reunion in the penultimate home feature of the fall against Dayton.

The Blue Hose checked off their first-ever Pioneer League victory by outlasting the Flyers on the road last October, winning a 20-17 overtime tussle with a rain-soaked backdrop in Ohio.

Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect, relive old memories, and participate in faith-based events and activities.

Sat., November 23: Senior Day / Cancer Awareness
Vs. Butler (1:00 PM)

For the second straight campaign, the Blue Hose will activate Senior Day festivities in the final outing of the season when Presby jousts with Butler in just the second all-time encounter versus the Bulldogs.

PC will aim for another season-closing W akin to 2023's four-point triumph over Morehead State, sending off each graduating athlete while also raising awareness for cancer research.
