GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose posted a two-under 286 for ninth place after the first round at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic at the Ironwood Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina. The second round was canceled due to inclement weather. The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes and will conclude with a final round on Tuesday, October 1.  

Florida Atlantic leads the 15-team field with a first-round score of minus 12 (276). Senior Jack Wofford, sophomore Spence Hagood, and freshman Jeep Patrick lead the Blue Hose tied for 25^th with a minus one (71).
 
NOTABLES

• Wofford tallied one birdie and 17 pars on his round.
• Hagood recorded three birdies and 13 pars on his round.
• Patrick had five birdies and nine pars on his round.
• Freshman Beau Lewis is tied for 48th after posting an opening-round score of 73 (+1). He had one birdie and 15 pars on his round.
• Senior Trey Howard posted an opening round of 75 (+3)  with two birdies and 12 pars on his round. Howard is tied for 65^th.
