HIGH POINT, N.C. – Presbyterian had four double-figure scorers but the Blue Hose (8-12, BSC: 1-4) battled the High Point Panthers (16-5, BSC: 4-2) to end before coming up short in a 77-66 loss on the road on Saturday night.
 
Kory Mincy led the Blue Hose with 18 points with four assists. Kobe Stewart scored 14 points with four assists. Iverson King scored 13 points while shooting eight-for-nine from the free-throw line. Jamahri Harvey scored 10 points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – High Point began the game on a 17-5 scoring run over the first five minutes. The Blue Hose scored eight of the next ten points cutting High Point's lead to 19-13 after a layup from Harvey with 11:54 on the clock. Stewart scored six points the other six points during the run. The Blue Hose cut High Point's lead to four, 26-22, after a three from the wing by Stewart at the 7:16 mark. High Point pushed their lead to seven points with four and a half minutes left in the half. Presbyterian went on a 10-2 scoring run taking a 34-33 lead when Mincy knocked down a three from the wing with 2:24 on the clock. High Point regained the lead by one point after layup by Bobby Pettiford. Then, Harvey connected on a three from the wing pushing the Blue Hose back in front 37-35. High Point's Chase Johnston made a three pushing the Panthers back in front 38-37. Mincy connected on a free throw with 18 ticks on the clock sending the game to halftime tied at 38.  
 

SECOND HALF – Presbyterian regained the lead with a three from King from the top of the key 30 seconds into the half. Then, High Point scored eight straight points taking a 46-41 lead. After a three from Stewart and two free throws from King, the Blue Hose knotted the score at 46 with 14:15 on the clock. High Point outscored the PC, 11-2, over the next five minutes taking a 57-48 lead. Presbyterian got right back in the game after five straight points from Mincy cutting High Point's lead to four, 57-53. High Point scored inside ending the Blue Hose's run. With 6:01 on the clock, Harvey knocked down a three from the wing getting the Blue Hose within three, 61-58. However, Presbyterian was not able to get any closer to High Point the rest of the way. With three minutes left in the game, Presbyterian trailed High Point, 70-65, after a jumper from Harvey. High Point closed out the game scoring seven of the final eight points.

• Mincy's 18 points marked his 18^th double-figure scoring game of the season and the 24^th of his career. Mincy connected on three three-point field goals in the game.
• Stewart's 14 points was his 15^th double-digit scoring game of the season and the 36^th of his career. Stewart knocked down three three-point field goals.
• King collected his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season with his 13 points.
• Harvey's 10 points marked his 10^th double-figure scoring game of the season.
